How does the work experience verification feature work?
After you add your work history, our system will send a verification request to your listed coworkers or managers. Once they confirm your details, your resume will be marked with a "verified" badge for that experience.
Is work experience verification mandatory?
No, it’s optional. However, having verified work experience can significantly enhance your credibility and increase your chances of standing out to employers.
Can I choose which experiences to verify?
Yes, you can select specific roles or entire sections to verify, depending on what you want to showcase with validated information.
How long does the verification process take?
The timeline varies depending on how quickly your references respond. On average, verification is completed within a few days after the request is sent.
Who will verify my work experience?
Verification is done by your previous coworkers or managers that you nominate. We’ll send them a request to confirm your role and responsibilities.
What happens if my experience isn’t verified?
If a verification request is not completed or declined, the experience will remain unverified on your resume, but you can still use the CV builder to create and share your resume without verified badges.
